Things Happen

I wrote a blog about 2 or so days ago and now i'm trying to look for it and cannot find it. I talked about incidents happening leaving are so mad such that we cannot even function. Bad things happen all the time and what is important is how you take it from there. It is not healthy to be going around carrying all the hurt on your shoulders. Just look for something good out of it and carry on as usual. I know it is easier said than done but for your own sake do it.

Recently i learned of this lady who had polio in her early years of life. What is so touching about her is that she did not concentrate on her situation. She found ways to help those who were in worser situations than herself. And she was able to find fulfilment in that. I just thought that is a better way to redirect our energy if faced with something devastating in life. I hope to remember this when i find myself in this predicament.

  2. I didn't get to watch it, but I heard that Nick Vujicic was on "The Today Show" last week. His website is: http://www.lifewithoutlimbs.org/
His story is AMAZING! It really makes me realize how truly blessed I am and helps me put all my "problems" into perspective. He took an unfortunate circumstance and has had a WORLDWIDE impact as a result of his positive attitude. VERY COOL!

  4. I'm always so impressed by people battling serious issues who maintain a great attitude and perspective. There have been studies showing how a positive attitude helps people recover from very serious medical issues...I'm sure that is not the only factor but is probably a pretty important one!
