I cannot believe that school is almost out. It seems like only yesterday i was enrolling and now it is almost gone. I have learned so much in this class. I thoroughly enjoyed each day of class because Mandy made it so much fun and easy for me to understand. I have learned everything that i have encountered is of vital importance. I may not understand it now, but later in life there is always an opportunity to use it. I felt very honored to be in this Public Relations class. Although i did not get a chance to talk to everyone in my class, i just admired everyone in there for the courage to be back in school. It was so encouraging. I felt i was not alone.
Each and every contribution made in class was a learning process for me. For those who shared jokes, I had so much fun. I did not know that one can have fun whilst learning. In Zimbabwe, I do not know if the system has changed now, our education was examination oriented. This was so tough for me. The difference here is that education is very life applicable. You can easily relate what you learn in school to your everyday life and that has helped me a lot. Thanks for the blogs

ReplyDeleteAnd that's interesting about Zimbabwe, I don't know much about other educational systems throughtout the world...Our's here in America can definitely sometimes be very exam-based too (i.e. standardized/state testing...ick), but in this class I agree- we were able to apply alot and that definitely helps you learn better/remember more!
It was a pleasure for me as well. I'm glad that your learning experience has been pleasurable. I enjoyed this class VERY much. I was actually excited to come on Wednesday, instead of dreading the long hours sitting in a cold, hard chair.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think we encourage each other (unknowingly). I look around the room and see the faces of people just like me...an adult student who has not thrown in the proverbial towel and called it quits on getting an education, but adults who are doing their best to reach their educational goals.
I am so glad you enjoyed the class. It was great to have a fun group and that made it more enjoyable for me to teach! Good luck with the rest of your studies.
